E36 E46 Oil Filter Wrench Socket Adapter for BMW

Complete your next oil change with ease by using the right tool for the job. Using this socket will allow you to torque the oil filter cap to the proper spec of 18ft-lb (25Nm) and prevent marring/rounding over the original plastic hex from using improper tools. 

This socket is compatible with E36, E46, E39, E60, E61, E38, E65, E66, X3 E83, X5 E53, Z3 E36, and Z4 E85 BMW models.

- 1/2 inch drive (1/2 inch ratchet needed), optional 3/8" drive adapter can be added

Oil drain plug torque specs (from Bently Repair Manual) 

- M12 bolt (17mm wrench) 25Nm 18ft-lb

- M22 bolt (19mm wrench) 60Nm 44ft-lb
