they fit, but clip style was different and they didn't seem to snap in properly - early '86 OBD1 E30 325es
Michael, I’m sorry the pins haven’t locked in properly. I’m happy to offer a refund. Could you email info@falkmfg.com with the connector’s name or location, any molded part number, and clear photos of the connector face and an original pin beside one of the new pins?
These are 2.5 mm round contacts for compatible C101/X20-style connectors. Early E30s can have different connector arrangements, including a rectangular engine-harness connector, so I’d like to identify yours before confirming compatibility.
Dirt or debris in a cavity, a damaged housing, or flattened retaining tabs can also prevent a pin from seating securely. On a matching terminal, the retaining wings may need a slight outward adjustment, but please don’t force or modify the pins until we’ve confirmed the connector.
